Chapter 20

Rolling over feeling a warm body nestled up next to mine was a wonderful feeling, I snuggle up to William. His hands wrapped around me and he kissed the back of my neck, “Good morning Sasha.” Turning to face him, I put my hand over my mouth and whisper a quick good morning and hurry to get out the bed to brush my teeth. He grabbed me and kisses my lips and probes his tongue into my mouth. “William stop I need to get rid of my morning breath you have to be grossed out!”

Trying to pry myself away from him he holds me tighter, “If you don’t relax and get use to waking up with me. We both have morning breath that’s clearly understandable, but it’s one of those things that a couple has to get used to. You shouldn’t be embarrassed and I’m not saying lay around with dragon breath, but don’t be ashamed to kiss your man first thing in the morning. Now let’s both go handle our breath before we kill each other with these flames we throwing!” We both laughed and got up and headed towards the bathroom.

After we had another round of intense love making and laying in each other’s arm asleep I snuck out of bed, took a shower and made my way to the kitchen. Opening the refrigerator and pulling out everything I need to put together a nice breakfast for my man. I search around the kitchen to find the plates and a tray to serve our meal on. I look over my meal to make sure I had not missed one single thing that William loves for breakfast. I placed piping hot grits, crisp bacon, pancakes, and scrambled eggs with three different cheeses on the plates. I add two cups of coffee to the tray and head back to the bedroom. Placing the tray in the middle of the bed, I walk around to wake William he looks at the breakfast and smiles. “Great sex and you can cook definitely a way to a man’s heart and a ring on that beautiful finger of yours.” He sits up in bed and starts sipping his coffee as if he said nothing major I stand frozen because hearing him discuss a ring made me really giddy and nervous at the same time. “Don’t act like you aren’t deserving of a ring.

After getting to know you I couldn’t believe someone hadn’t put a ring on it. Sasha you are the type of woman that men don’t let get away if they do they regret it later.” He starts arranging our plates and gestured for me to sit down with him to eat, while I process what he has just said to me. Marriage has been something in my life if it happened great, but was not something I placed a lot of enthusiasm into. When you get in your thirties with a demanding career and relationship options are slim you put marriage in a box like a prize you have to wait or earn when you deserve it.
